Clean, friendly staff..... and of course the food is amazing, a must to stop at Portillo's anytime we are near one, infact that is why we chose the hotel we did... 2 blocks away :) the hot dog....yum, the chocolate cake shake... super yum, the hot beef with peppers.... amazing. And good prices.

This place was amazing! The interior was spectacular, the food was made fast, and most importantly it was delicious! I tried the chili cheese dog which was good, also the chicken sandwich which was one of the better ones I've had, and I also tried their burger which was great! To finish it all off I tried the chocolate cake shake which was amazing! This made me wish I had a Portillo's where I lived.

What can I say other than I love this place. I have been to a couple of Portillo's now that they are in Milwaukee. Every time I go in with the intention of having a hotdog, which they are known for. However, how can I pass up an italian beef sandwich with extra gravy?The building does not look that big on the outside, however after finding a full parking lot on a Holiday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised at how it was not as busy as expected and the ordering line went very fast.Good service, good food, good environment. Definitely recommend.

The bacon burger was very tasty with a strong taste in the burger meat and the malt was delicious! I ordered a vanilla malt, and it was very flavorful and large, but it did have some sugar that fell to the bottom and was like brown sugar in a clump.other than that, everything was perfect

Sandwich is slightly above average for an italian beef. The meat is juicy but not overly flavorful, like if they reduced the gravy its in by 20% to concentrate it, then we'd be talking about something. My gripes with the sandwich is how the cheese is put on. I wish it somehow got more melted. Plus its an extra 60 cents. It was my first time here. Hot dog was awesome, salad was plain. Loved the ice cold mug my beer was served in. Next time will try chicken and soup. Loved the interior decorations and surprised how fast the kitchen was able to get orders out during the dinner rush.

Great place not your average fast food. I had the bacon burger and onion rings with a strawberry shake. Next time I will get a small shake, the large was too much. Overall was pleasantly surprised by the quality, size the fact it was still fast food.

Great place for a bit of a longer lunch. I love the atmosphere and the food. Big beef dipped with mozzarella cheese is my go-to, it makes for a really great lunch. Beware the occasional long-ish wait if they're busy.

Yesterday was our first time eating inside the restaurant. All of our previous visits have been in the drive-thru. Do yourself a favor; go inside. It's a fun environment and well worth the stop. We ordered burgers, onion rings and a few of us had salads. All were excellent and we would order again.

I always love Portillo's. This location had a Wisconsin bratwurst with sauerkraut and mustard which was very good and also spotted cow on tap. I was impressed with the service too. It was busy but we were served very quickly. Excellent choice for a bite to eat.

I love coming here the theme is always enjoyable! I always find something new that I didn't see last time. The line can get very long, but they are always on it! It doesn't take long for your turn. The wait wasn't long either surprisingly considering it was a Saturday night. The food was excellent!

We have always been big fans of Portilloâ€™s, but their service is the best. We live about 20 miles away and picked up a few pounds of beef for a party. We had many guests in town and unpacked the food to find one of the packages of beef was missing. We wouldnâ€™t have been able to feed everyone with the amount we had. I was about to hop in the car for 40 minute drive, and my wife called ahead of time.They graciously decided to deliver it to us. They fixed an honest mistake and even threw in a cake for us as a courtesy. Thank you so much for making our catering and party even better!

Not as good as the Portillo's in Rockford, not as clean and the people working the cash registers are slow. The mix on the chocolate cake milkshakes was off, too much chocolate sauce and not mixed enough. The Italian beef was still good.

A Chicago favorite, here in the land of beer and cheese. Great menu selection. The beef with a lil extra gravy is extremely popular. I have had many items, not been disappointed so far. The chocolate cake shake is almost a meal within itself! I have never finished one.
